NOTICE - Choctaw Tribal Members who own a business in or reside in the 10½ Choctaw Counties may be eligible for a Choctaw Small Business Development Scholarship to pay for this training workshop. Upon verification, you will be notified. You must be a Choctaw CDIB card holder to meet the requirements. QuickBooks software is ideal for small businesses that manage their own accounting and other business transactions. Participants in this intensive, hands-on training will learn how QuickBooks can streamline their processes and benefit their business. QuickBooks Pro 2018 Desktop version is used for this training. Topics to be covered include: Examining Chart of Accounts; Writing Checks and Recording Deposits; Reconciling Bank Statements; Entering and Paying Bills; Invoicing Customers and Receiving Payments; Creating Basic Financial Statements and Balance Sheets; Tracking Sales Tax; Entering and Receiving Credit Card Charges; Utilizing Sub-Accounts. Attendees will enter information on provided laptops using practice sets and have the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance. Instructor: Savanna Dixon, Certified QuickBooks Trainer Funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, WBC’s, SBA 7j and PRIME programs and services are provided on a nondiscriminatory basis.
